About the app
If you own a Mitsubishi Heavy Industries air conditioner — an SRK indoor unit with a WF-RAC or WF-RAC-HTTPS Wi-Fi module — MyAirco turns the smartphone in your pocket into a full remote for it. Power, mode, target temperature, fan speed and airflow are all there, plus the indoor and outdoor readings the unit itself reports.
What makes this MHI airco app different is where the commands go: nowhere except your own router. MyAirco finds every WF-RAC module on your Wi-Fi and speaks the local protocol directly. There is no MyAirco account, no cloud service in between, and no data leaving the house.
That also makes it a genuinely local Smart M-Air alternative: you do not need Smart M-Air (sometimes written Smart M Air), a Home Assistant server, a hub or a bridge to use it. The air conditioner app and the airco talk to each other over the network you already have, which is why the response is immediate and why it keeps working when your broadband does not.
MyAirco is free on Google Play, available in five languages, and built by a small independent studio rather than a manufacturer. Check the compatibility list before you install — the Wi-Fi module matters more than the app.

A command travels smartphone → router → air conditioner. There is no login session to refresh, no server to wake up and no queue to wait in, so the unit responds while your thumb is still on the screen.
Because nothing depends on an outside service, MyAirco keeps controlling your Mitsubishi Heavy Industries airco as long as the Wi-Fi router is running — and it cannot be switched off by a cloud service being retired.

Download MyAirco from Google Play and make sure your smartphone is on the same network as your Mitsubishi Heavy Industries air conditioners. Accept the local network prompt when Android asks for it.
Already paired WF-RAC modules are discovered automatically. For a brand-new module, the guided five-step setup connects it to your 2.4 GHz network using the airco remote and the Wi-Fi label on the unit.
Give each unit a name you recognise. From then on the home screen shows every room, and a tap opens full control of mode, temperature, fan and airflow.
